Preferred Supplier Terms
E & M Event Management Ltd — Standard Terms for Preferred Suppliers
These are the standard terms on which E & M Event Management Ltd, of Fairlie, Main Road, Minsterworth, Gloucestershire, GL2 8JH, lists and recommends suppliers on the Preferred Suppliers programme. Acceptance of your application (or any booking referred by E&M that you accept) is taken as acceptance of these terms.
Listing
Once approved, your business will appear on the E&M Event Management website (Preferred Suppliers page) with your logo or venue photograph, a short description and a link to your website. We'll feature you to our enquiring clients where you fit their brief, style and budget.
Commission (10%)
- —In return for being listed and recommended to our clients, you agree to pay E & M Event Management Ltd a commission of 10% (ten per cent) of the total value (ex VAT) of any work, booking or order placed with you that originates from an E&M introduction, recommendation or event.
- —This applies whether the booking is for the original event, a repeat booking, or any subsequent work commissioned by the same client within 12 months of the introduction.
- —The fee is invoiced by E&M after the work is confirmed (or at the supplier's option, deducted from supplier invoices E&M settles on the client's behalf) and is payable within 14 days of the invoice date.
- —Quotations for E&M clients must be on the same commercial terms you would offer the public — the 10% commission is not to be added on top of the client's price.
Standards
You agree to deliver work to the standard your portfolio represents, to maintain your own public liability insurance (minimum £2m recommended), and to honour any quotations you provide to E&M clients.
Communication
You will respond to E&M client and team enquiries within two working days during normal business hours, and copy E&M in on all client-facing correspondence relating to an E&M booking.
Reciprocal Link (Backlink)
- —As a Preferred Supplier you agree to display a visible, do-follow link to https://emeventmanagement.co.uk on your website — typically in your footer, "Partners", "As featured in" or "Preferred Suppliers" section.
- —The link must use the text "E&M Event Management" or our supplied logo.
- —It must be live within 14 days of listing confirmation and remain in place for as long as you appear on our Preferred Suppliers page.
- —We are happy to provide logo files and ready-made HTML on request.
Confidentiality
Client lists, guest information and event details shared with you in the course of an E&M booking are strictly confidential and may not be used for your own marketing without written consent.
Independence & Liability
You remain an independent business and are solely responsible for the goods and services you supply, including all employer, public and product liability obligations. Nothing in this arrangement creates a partnership, joint venture or employment relationship.
Removal & Termination
- —Either party may end the arrangement at any time with reasonable notice in writing.
- —We may remove a supplier from the website immediately if a client raises a serious concern, if the agreed backlink is not in place within 14 days (or is later removed), or if the commission remains unpaid 30 days after the due date.
- —Commissions on bookings already confirmed at the date of termination remain payable.
Governing Law
This arrangement is governed by the laws of England and Wales, and both parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
